God's Provision

I just wanted to share how God has once again provided for me.  I had a staggering bill left over at the end of this school year and was unable to enroll for the fall until it was paid.  I had been praying about it since January and was trying to decide whether or not to ask for help from family.  However, I never really had a peace about asking anyone so I kept quiet asked people to pray and kept praying myself.  About two weeks before the semester ended my Grandpa called me to see if I'd like to have his car since he decided it was time for him to hang up his keys due to health problems.  WOW!  What an answer to prayer.  And I got to spend two plus weeks with my grandparents in Colorado, which was awesome.  The new car is an '06 Chevy HHR and only has 42,000 miles on it.  When I got back home I put my Mercury Sable up for sale and waited, and waited.  I only had two bites in two weeks.  But I continued to pray and wait.  Then, I got another call and ended up meeting the coolest lady.  Her name is Mary and she just returned from teaching English in Korea for the past 16 years, she used to teach at OU, and she's into alternative medicine and plays the flute.  Needless to say we had plenty to talk about and she loved the car and bought it from me yesterday.  We're going to meet for lunch next week as well.  So this morning I finally got to pay off my OU fees from last school year and I can enroll tomorrow for the fall semester!  Yahoo!

"For I have learned to be content with whatever I have.  I know how to live with everything or with nothing.  I have learned to be content with a full stomach or with empty (okay this one I'm still working on).  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me...and my God which takes care of me will supply all your needs according to His glory and riches in Christ Jesus our Lord."  Philippians 4:11b - 13, 19
